The C.S. Osborne #613 Button Replacement Tufting Needle is a simpler D.I.Y. version of the professional #417 tool. It is designed to install replacement buttons from the front of an upholstered piece without needing to remove the outside back to gain access. A metal clasp is injected from the front through the fabric and foam which acts as an anchor for the button to be tied off on the front.
